I don’t know about you, but I could definitely go for a bedroom like this…
I probably have an acute case of biophilia I guess.
With so many articles pointing to the positive effects spending time in nature provides us, it makes sense to get outdoors as much as we can. However, for many of us (yours truly included), time outside is at a premium. So why not bring some of the great outdoors in?
You can start small, with a terrarium or two.
Or go big and grand, like this living wallpaper.
It doesn’t even have to be something green. Even a couple of sapling trunks and a small pile of rocks can remind you of the peace you find outdoors.

I absolutely love the bedroom with the glass windows. It’s like you get to live in nature next to beautiful water and trees, but without having to deal with bugs and such.

Living wallpaper!? What a creative way to decorate your home AND bring the outdoors in. I think most homeowners would be hesitant to go that far, but small touches of the outdoors are a great accent.
